I’d spend my last dime on art. I’d rather have blank walls than fill them with objects that are meaningless or uninteresting to me. That doesn’t mean my art is precious or unaffordable but something in each piece has grabbed me, usually its color and especially if it has a sense of place (like the one painted on-site at the Paris Opera House) or architecture.
Though many of my clients would like to add art to their spaces, they often have the notion that they don’t know what “good art” is or it’s a luxury they can’t pursue. I relish the chance to beat the mystique and encourage people to seek art. It truly brings heart and soul into a room like nothing else.
